Pretty sure I remember a phone scam along these lines happening pretty often a few years ago. don't bother doing anything until you get a summons. Scams like this target the elderly or people who just don't know better. (I'm pretty sure you know all this and its just a joke post)

Probably the same people who called me from an unlisted number and said that my debit card had been frozen and that, in order to unfreeze it, I had to enter the 16-digit number. I got a similar call from the "IRS" saying that I was being audited. For the record, the IRS will send you a letter. They'll never call you.

When I first start and drive around at 3k and never before that I start to hear a belt squeal. If I keep it at 3k for about two minutes the noise slowly fades and no more squeal. Then, if I go up to 4k it will make that exact noise until I follow the same drill. The noise will return at 5k, 6k, etc until I've run through the full range a few times and then no more squeal until the engine completely cools again. It has had one previous owner who ordered it new. She babied the car and I asked her about it. She says she has heard it before and so has Lotus of Atlanta, but they didn't find anything wrong. Before I let loose the gods of lotustalk, I wanted to ask you first.
